Jon Cross - BSc, MSc, C.Eng, MICE
Owner/Director
Jon is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 30 years experience in the construction industry, and more than 15 years working for specialist geotechnical contractors/suppliers. Principle areas of interest are the design of geotechnical structures with particular expertise in reinforced soil retaining structures and backfilled precast arches. As the former Director of a major reinforced soil company, experience included other aspects of business management from estimating and sales through to operations and commercial management. However, design was always Jon's main passion and Tellus Design was founded in 2010 to provide a specialist engineering service for geotechnical structures.
Outside interests include cycling (including the commute to work) and building models of Cold War era British jets. Living close to RAF museum, Cosford and being the father of aircraft obsessed sons, it was inevitable that an interest in all things 'Airfix' would be revived.
